Can just recommend for a little getaway

Comfortable room, convenient amenities, perfect location. the room was clean and included free Wi-Fi, allowing easy access to plan our day, and the friendly staff made the check-in smooth.

Not one thing.

We had a fantastic time exploring the North Carolina Transportation Museum, and my brother and I loved every exhibit! The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the staff made our stay hassle-free. It was also easy to access nearby attractions.

My kids wished they had a pool.

Check-in was tedious, taking too long and feeling awkward due to the plastic barrier. My room was quite cramped, and the air conditioning struggled to keep it cool. Housekeeping didn't visit during my stay, which added to my dissatisfaction. On a brighter note, I enjoyed some delicious local seafood nearby, providing a nice culinary escape after a day of discomfort.

Tried to turn on a light, only to find a missing bulb. It felt uncomfortable and hot because the a/c unit barely made a dent in the high outside temperatures. After traveling for 6 hours, I thought a clean bed would be waiting, but the bed was more of a struggle than comfort. Housekeeping didn’t make the bed or replace towels in the three days I stayed. On the plus side, the room was clean despite the shabby feel, so that was a relief. And I did appreciate having a quiet space to recover from my travels, even with all the annoyances. Overall, it's a mixed bag here.
